The Schutzhund Advisory Committee has decided to make the following changes to the Trial/Competition format to bring it in line with International (VPG/SchH, IPO) rules:

There will be no ‘Pre-Novice’ Class Protection

The ‘Pre-Novice Obedience’ is replaced by ‘BH Obedience’. The Heeling pattern is identical and follows the BH Obedience Test routine.

There will be no ‘Novice’ Class. Instead, the two classes are Schutzhund 1 (SchH1) Obedience and Schutzhund 1 (SchH1) Protection

Thus, the prizes offered will be as follows:
BH Obedience- 1st prize and 2nd prize
SchH1 Obedience- 1st prize and 2nd prize
SchH1 Protection- 1st prize and 2nd prize
SKLim Challenge Cup: Best combined score of Sch1 Obedience and Protection.

There will be no ‘Pre-Novice Champion’ cup.


A dog may be entered in any one of the three classes only, or both Obedience( BH or SchH1) and SchH1 Protection


Entry fees remain the same: First dog RM50 first class; RM25 for second class. Second dog:RM30 and RM 25 respectively.
